Sea View Football Club has intensified its for elevation to First Eco
Partners sponsored Premier League with the latest trashing of
strugglers KGI. Momentum is gathering immense pace in the second tier as the race for the two automatic promotion place gains momentum. Steve Biko, Samger are all in the chase but Sea View FC are proving, considering their recent run of fine streaks, the most consistent for the past two weeks as they
close in on the league leaders.
Sold over the past two months, a process endorsed by the
Gambia Football Federation but whose change of name to Marimoo will
only take effect in the second phase of the on-going domestic season,
Sea View fought tooth and nail to triumph over a stuttering KGI.
Ousman Marong catapulted Sea View in the lead after four minutes
having been fed by Lamin Conteh. KGI drew level however with a
last-gasp effort from Furmose Bass garnering all points for the
nawettan turned divisional side.
The victory propels Sea View to second position temporarily depending
on outcome of other games which were being played as we went to press
over the weekend.
