Demba Savage is buoyed of securing new club BK Hacken their first ever title provided his team-mates work as a Demba Savage 4unit.

Hacken are yet to lay hands on the Sweden Premier League title coming close only when they finished runners-up four years ago.

But 27-year-old Scorpion Savage ‘100 percent’ believes this season could mark beginning of an end to his Swedish side’s trophy drought.

Speaking from the club’s pre-season tour in Florida, US, he said: ‘Yes, I’m 100 percent sure. We work hard together and respect each other, we have a good chance. We must believe in ourselves. It all starts at the training facility’

While urging fans to afford him little time to adapt to the league, the winger feels he’s under no pressure to perform.

Demba transferred to HJK scooping the Finnish Premier League title on back-to-back and helping them reach Europa group stage for the first time.

The former Gambia Ports Authority ace has been courting interests from a number of suitors including clubs from Denmark but found temptation to move to BK Hacken too strong to turn down.

The Scorpion’s contract duration is believed to be a three-year deal. Savage is expected to bolster Hacken’s forward rank after scoring fifty-six goals and assists for HJK last season.

Dubbed Dea, a highly revered Demba is HJK’s most successful Gambian import in the club’s history.
