Fast-rising Gambian-born footballer Saibou Keita has followed in the tracks of older brother Muhamed Keita by signing a professional contract in Poland.
The left-footed all-round attacking player wowed Ark Gdynia, a club in Poland’s premier league, having turned heads during a trial in September.
The 19-year-old got offered a chance to impress after leaving Stromgodset, a Norwegian top tier outfit, whose reserves he starred for a number of seasons.
Keita, younger brother yet –to-be capped, Gambia-born winger Muhamed Keita , put on a good fight and got rewarded for his impression on the coaching staff with a professional contract.
It was first believed, with the player being a free agent, new club Ark Gynia will quickly exploit the avenue to fast track Keita to the A-team set up but it appears, Saibou will be sent on loan preferably to Norway, his home, to a premier league side there to continue his development.
A box of tricks with a vision for passing and doesn’t bat an eyelid in taking markers head-on, Saibou is capable of unlocking defenses with the most frenzy of dribblings and movements.
Keita holds a Norwegian passport but has strong intentions to commit to Gambia at international level come the 2019 qualifiers.
