The Judicial Secretary has informed Gambians that the revising courts will start to hear and decide objections and appeals to the inclusion or exclusion of any name in the register of voters on 6 September 2021.
The courts are to be situated at Banjul, Kanifing, Brikama, Brusubi, Mansakonko, Farafenni, Kuntaur, Kaur, Jangjangbureh and Basse.
“The courts will be operating for a period of sixty days with effect from the 06th of September 2021,” the release stated.
The courts will be presided over by a Magistrate of the first class.
Gambians are advised to liaise with the respective registrars of the revising courts within the various administrative regions for any information relating to the court.
These courts are established by The Chief Justice of the Gambia, Justice Hassan B. Jallow.
