The 2021/22 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s League Division One champions Red Scorpions have loaned their midfielder to AS Bambey in Senegal.
Christened Adel Mendy, the Red Scorpions combative midfielder helped his side ensure an unbeaten run to win 12 matches and draw 2 to become champions.
“The Management of Red Scorpions FC is pleased to announce that our player Adel Mendy has moved to AS Bambey in the Senegalese Second Division. The combative midfielder sealed the move after both clubs came to an agreement recently on a season long loan move for the 2022/2023 season,” the club said in a statement on its Facebook platform.
