Prosecution to Amend charges Against 5 Agric Officials

By Rohey Jadama A.M Yusuf  on  Wednesday 10 June  2015 intimated to the Banjul High court presided over by Justice Simeon Ateh Abi of the Banjul High that the prosecution will amend charges against  Madam Ada Gaye, the former Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and four other officials of the same ministry, However, Lawyer Lamin S. Camara defence counsel for the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4th and 5^th accused persons did not raise any objection and Sheriff Tambedou counsel for the 1^st accused person did not also object. The case was adjourned till 29 June at 1pm-3pm for hearing. The other accused persons are Mr. Fafanding Fatajo, Project Coordinator for the Food and Agriculture Sector Development Project (FASDEP), Mr. Omar Jammeh, the Financial Controller of FASDEP, Mr. Foday Jadama, Deputy Director of the Soil and Water Management Services under the Agric ministry, and Dr Abdou Ceesay, Director of the Department of Livestock Services.]]>
