One of the drivers of President Adama Barrow has passed away on Wednesday 30th December, 2020, State House announced in a dispatch.
The driver, Jarreh Fatty, a resident of Sukuta Nema, was with the President’s entourage on Tuesday at the meeting held in Foni amid the president Meet The People Tour.
Due to the death of Jarreh, meetings to be held in Foni Bullock and Kuloro have been postponed till further notice.
“His Excellency, Adama Barrow and the entire staff of the State House regret to announce the death of a friend and co-worker, Jerreh Fatty. Until the time of his death, Jerreh was one of the drivers to the President,” a notice from the state house Facebook page noted.
The Burial of Mr. Fatty will take place today (Wednesday) at his residence in Sukuta Nema.
The Gambia State house extended the death of Jarreh to the entire nation of the Gambia and his relatives.
