Police Commend Public For Exercising Decorum

The Gambia Police Force (GPF) through its ‘Poliso’ Magazine’s Facebook page, commended civilians especially those who were at the Banjul High Court on Monday 25th July 2022, to show solidarity to the embattled Fire Protect Company proprietor Babucarr Keita alias ‘Bob’ for the decorum, civility and restraint exercised during the rape trial involving the young business person.

The police equally commended their gallant commanders and officers for ensuring a successful operation without any major incident; that the cooperation shown between their officers and the public was remarkable and worth commendation.

The release said group leaders not only ensured their members were calm, but were supportive to the officers in policing unscrupulous individuals among the crowd;

That three persons were arrested for stealing and are currently helping the police in their investigations.

The victims of this theft are encouraged to report and follow up with the police as some of the stolen properties have been recovered.

“We continue to reassure the public that the GPF shall ensure security is delivered to all with utmost professionalism and respect for human rights, and members of the public are encouraged to continue supporting, collaborating and partnering with the police.
