The police operations team engaged in demolishing structures along the public highways have so far arrested 144 people as of 17 November 2023.
The number of people arrested in Kanifing Municipality (KM) 119 while the total arrest in Brikama is 25. 13 people were released on bail with strict warning by the police. This number was confirmed by the police spokesperson. The operations will continue on Monday.
The police said the people were arrested because they failed to comply with their orders.
