PDOIS Selects Candidates for Council Elections in Wuli

The People’s Democratic Organization for Independence and Socialism (PDOIS) on Saturday 4th February 2023, accomplished their candidate selection ahead of the 2023 local government elections scheduled for April.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), has already scheduled 15th April 2023, as election date for Ward Councilors across the country and interested applicants have applied or started to apply as candidates of their various political parties, as accomplished by the PDOIS selection committee in Wuli East and West, after selecting their candidates who now await their opponents.

Alhagie Lamin Touray from Wulli Barrow kunda was selected as flag bearer for Sare Ngai Ward under PDOIS ticket, after the withdrawal of Bakary Janneh.

For Sutukonding Ward, Mawdo Sisawo from Sutukonding was selected among three other applicants who applied under the PDOIS party ticket as candidate for the said Ward.

Meanwhile, the Wuli East PDOIS selection committee retained their incumbent councilors for Baja kunda Foday Kunda Wards.
