Pa Dibba is proving a hot cake to marshal for defenders recently as he led his Swedish side to a romping scoring twice against Orebo.
The 28-year-old began the onslaught of what would later become a comprehensive battering capitalizing on a lose defending to smack the ball past a rather puzzled Orebo goalkeeper who’d wandered out of his goal line.
Four minutes on, the visitors’ equalized from Ahman-Persson curling it in the far post to spare his mates of their early blushes. But it was Dibba who would dampen Orbo’s any hopes of solid claim for a point, connecting well from a team-mates’ provider to make it 2-1 to go into the break leading.
Fresh from break, the Gambia international continued to prove a thorn in Orebo’s flesh making best use of the opponent’s kamikaze defending to turn provider for team-mate Sigurjonsson who did not hesitate to strike the final nail to the coffin to seal off a final 3-1 win.
Speaking in the aftermath of the match, the scorpion was all delight for his man-of-the-match input and it couldn’t have been a happier night with his father and sister watching from the stands.
‘My sister was in the stands and I know my dad will see these goals. So this for my dad ,’ Dibba says.
Pa has now scored two in four matches as he plans to replicate his form in front of goal the previous term in which his goals helped his side Sundsvall escape the clutches of demotion to the second tier.
Sonko-Sundberg, 19-year-old a player with a Gambian parentage, was also in action starring till end of time in what has been the defender’s third game so far.
