Sundsvall goal assassin and Gambia international Pa Dibba this week dodged questions relating to his contract Pa Dibbasituation at Swedish club Sundsvall.

The quick-paced marks man has seven months left of his current deal last extended two seasons ago.

Negotiations are still ongoing between the player’s representatives and the club board and it has been confirmed that the Scorpion has been offered improved terms. But it is understood that the 28-year-old is digging his feet on signing a new contract in a bid to force his club to top little more on his current pay.

Pa Amat, scorer of Gambia’s consolation goal in the thumping to Namibia, has been attracting attention since finishing as his club’s top scorer on eight goals last term.

Gustaf, agent of the Scorpion, wouldn’t be tempted to make any mention of clubs queuing for the striker’s services, with overtures, believed to be high in clubs from Denmark and Norway, as intermediaries continue to monitor the Gambian’s contract situation.

And quizzed whether or not he would pen a deal or stay at least beyond the current campaign, Dibba opted to dodge the question preferring to make mention of his fourth goal of the season, scored on Sunday.
