Transport, Works and Infrastructure with effect from Thursday, 13 November 2014, according to a release from state house read out on GRTS television.
He has been in office for less than three months, as he bounced back to cabinet on 25 August 2014.
The same released also indicated that the portfolio of Transport, Works and Infrastructure is now transferred again to the office of the president.
Mr. Badjie has been a former deputy Inspector General of Police and minister of the Interior under the APRC regime.
Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Badjie, was the Gambia’s ambassador to Morocco.
