By Sulayman Bah Gambia striker Ousman Jallow will resume training probably this weekOusman Jallow after being sidelined for weeks by injury. The HJK goal-poacher sustained a hamstring injury in a league match against league newcomers KTP. The 26-year-old climbed off the bench to join the fray but was soon taken aside by injury. The extent of the forward’s wound has not been disclosed but it was feared he may not play until next month after an anticipated surgery. This wound has temporarily applied the brakes on this player’s fight to secure a starting place in the HJK squad after having only thirty-eight minutes of football in the domestic championship since joining the Finnish champions. However, it appears that the nightmare caused by the injury is over, at least for now, with the 26-year-old due to rejoin his club team mates at least for light workouts. It is though not clear when he will be fully recalled for team action. Meanwhile, the recuperation of the former Al Ain marksman is welcome news for his club. Ous is however not expected to join the Scorpion contingent flying to Johannesburg. A batch of new forwards have been recruited as possible replacements to Jallow with Omar Jagne from the third tier side Dalkurd, Macoumba Kandji and Assan Ceesay of Casa Sport being some of those identified to fill the void.]]>
