Gambia striker Ousman Jallow has forced himself into HJK coach’s
thinking to start him in games.
The attacker was almost a surplus to requirement with other striker’s
including Japanese center-forward Havenaar ahead of him in the pecking
order. Often he’s thrown into games three minutes from time.A hamstring injury sustained in a league outing sidelining him for
three weeks didn’t helped matters.
For a striker who’d been starting eleven regular games for majority
of his career found himself exercising patience pushing the
ex-Wallidan man into being distraught. However his nightmare days
now appear to be as good as over.
The 26-year-old convinced his gaffer after scoring thirteen minutes
from joining in the second-half.
He was picked to start again in the one-all draw against capital
rivals HIFK before he got subbed two minutes from time.
The Gambian will now hope the current trend continues.
