Having been without a club since leaving Finnish side Kajaani, Gambia footballer Omar Jasseh is again in the Omar Jasseh trials in Germanyhunt for a new club this time in Germany, Foroyaa Sport can report.

The 23-year-old midfielder’s search for pastures new has landed him to German side KFC Uerdingen whom he’s understood to be trying to impress.

The former Samger Football Club play-making ace had his chance appearing in the B-team during the club’s celebration of more than a century existence. Jasseh got thrown in the fray and seized the offer scoring twice as KFC Uerdingen marauded Dusseldolf last weekend.

Omar last played competitive football in 2014 fielding five times for AC Kajaani a third tier Finnish outfit.

In 2013, he got tested with German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen but was soon waived to try elsewhere. Dubbed Waterman by local admirers, Jasseh’s career has been plagued by successive injuries.

Prior to moving to Germany recently he’d trained along with striker Ousman Jallow to up his fitness levels just before Jallow switched to Kazakhstan Premier League club Palvador.

However having scored two goals for fifth division KFC Uerdingen, who are chasing promotion, Waterman will be hoping he’d done enough to be offered a contract.
