Winger Jibril Bojang has inked the dotted lines on an improved contract effectively cooling prolonged speculations regarding his future.
The 22-year-old has been linked with an early exit few months into his nine-month deal after impressing with Norwegian second tier Mjøndalen.
Talks have been incessant regarding his future amid reports a plethora of clubs, some of them in the top tier, are closely monitoring his progress.
Mjøndalen acquired Bojang from premier league outfit Start in March as the club evaluates the player’s general impact to the team.
But having seen him turn into one of the team’s key stars, Mjøndalen moved quickly to tie down Jibril to a further two-year contract.
This development will temporary quell down early interest going into the end of this league term but possible inquiries about the player’s availability is expected at least by next year.
