Abdoulie G. Dibba Momodou Lamin Gassama, Project Director of the Agricultural Land and Water Management Development Project has been in detention for 44 days today, Thursday, 9th July 2015 at the National Intelligence Agency head office in Banjul.Mr. Gassama was arrested by plain clothes officers on 27th May 2015 at his residence in Jambur Jarri Kunda (Sinchu Giddon). According to a family source, Mr. Gassama is still detained and is yet to appear before any court of law. The family source further said that they are not aware of any charge leveled against him. Mr. Gassama is the project Director of the multi-million dollar project, funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and targeting women and youths and seeking to contribute to the eradication of hunger and poverty in rural Gambia.]]>
