NAWEC EMPLOYEE FINALLY RELEASED

By Mustapha Jallow A reliable source has informed Foroyaa that Madam Ngoneh Jallow, a senior Commercial Manager at the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC), was released from custody on 11 May 2015, (yesterday). Foroyaa can confirm that Madam Jallow who has spent about two weeks in detention has finally reunited with her family in Banjul. She received a warm welcome from friends and relatives. Foroyaa had earlier reported the sudden disappearance without trace of Madam Jallow, whose family said they had not seen or heard from since she left home to go to work; adding that they had not received any information regarding her whereabouts. The public relations officer at NAWEC, was contacted to find out whether Ngoneh has been reporting for work and to shed light on the state of her employment but he said he knows nothing about this matter.]]>
