NAMES OF DETAINEES MENTIONED IN COURT WITHOUT APPEARANCES

The names of a number of people connected with the Westfield protest of 14 April 2016 have been mentioned in court without their appearance.

This has left family members to question their whereabouts. Fears are being expressed but actual proof is difficult to come by.

The allegations are many thus compelling Foroyaa to visit their families and conduct more investigation at the mortuary to find out whether there are any corpses linked to the Westfield protest but are yet to get any clear information.

Family members are devastated. The State needs to give answers and to do so with speed. Failure to appear in court is not helping the situation either. Families need to know the whereabouts of their loved ones after 72 hours have already elapsed since their arrest.
