The minister for finance and economic affairs, Hon. Abdou Kolley tabled a motion before deputies on the 28 December, 2015 at 
the National Assembly to include head 50 in the Appropriation Bill 2016.
He stated that head 50 (National Debt Service) has been inadvertently omitted from the Appropriation Bill, 2016 at a tune of D4,986,196,617 (four billion, nine hundred and eighty-six million, one hundred and ninety-six thousand, six hundred and seventeen dalasi) which will bring the total budget to D12,226,486,699 ( twelve billion, two hundred and twenty-six million, four hundred and eighty-six thousand, six hundred and ninety-nine dalasi). The minister expressed deep regret for the omission and told the Assembly that the motion was meant to rectify this. He proceeded to move the motion.
Hon Fabakary Tombong Jatta, seconding the motion said the Appropriation Bill that adopted the Bill stopped at 29, and the omission is head 50. “I want to assure you that this bill has already been approved. It is only during the extraction that head 50 was omitted. I urge you all to approve it,” he told his fellow members.
