In the Spanish recruitment deal, the Spanish government works through the government to facilitate recruitment by Spanish officials. What Foroyaa has been emphasing is the need for a contract of appointment indicating the terms and conditions of service especially remuneration.
In terms of the Suadi recruitment drive, agents based in The Gambia are empowered to do the recruitment subject to final shortlisting by agents in Saudi Arabia whose company names and status are yet to be revealed. The normal salary scale in Saudi Arabia is still not yet finalised and the Gambian authorities are yet to explain whether those recruited will be paid the same salaries and offered the same condition of service as Saudi citizens doing the same type of work, Foroyaa will do more investigation to clarify matters.
