Reliable sources have told Foroyaa that the Minister of Justice has resigned from his position.

Abubacarr Marie Tambadou, is organizing a press conference on Friday, 26th June 2020 where he is expected to shed light on his resignation.

This is the second time Ba Tambadou resigned as the Minister of Justice. The first one was in 2018 when his brother, Sheriff Marie Tambadou was secretly recorded during a conversation with the wife ex-Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Yankuba Badjie. His resignation was not accepted by the President and he continued to serve until recently when he tendered his second resignation.

Our reporter was at the Ministry of Justice to speak with the Honourable Minister, but he was told to wait for the press conference.
