Mattar M’Boge departs assistant coach role at Loudoun United FC

Former Gambia U-20 Head Coach Mattar M’Boge has left his role as Assistant Coach of Loudoun United FC—an American professional soccer team based in Leesburg, Virginia.

The club announced his departure on Thursday.

“…he departs the club to continue building on his impressive coaching career overseas. Best of luck Coach!”  

The Gambian coach was appointed in July 2022 when he was the head coach of the Gambia U-23.  Below is a list of his successes.

Africa U-20 Cup of Nations 2021 – Bronze medal – qualified to 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup (cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic)
