By Sulayman Bah Gambian midfielder Mamut Saine was offered to make his full Mamut Sainedebut for new club Fokikos in Greece second tier. The 20-year-old signed the dotted lines last month reportedly on a free move from Tunisian club Athletique Bizertin. But barely a month after moving in, the ex-U-20 man has won himself automatic place into the club starting line up and played a crucial part in his club derby encounter with Lamia at home to Fokikos. Handed the club illustrious number seven jersey, the former Sea View playmaker was a part in the build-up to the opener and scored after 18 minutes ticked in the first-half before super-sub Guma poked in the equalizing goal one minute into additional time. It was Mamut and co second match of the new league as they target an audacious bid for promotion to the Greece top flight. Saine will hope his debut paves way for his frequent inclusion in the starting line up after sealing a deserved move to Europe following a two-year spell in north of Africa. He becomes the third Gambian to have played in the Greece second tier after ex- Scorpion striker Kamal Ndaw and recently Macoumba Kandji.]]>
