LT. COL. DETAINED FOR 137 DAYS After Meeting court order

By Mustapha Jallow Erstwhile Lieutenant Colonel, Solo Bojang, the former manager of Kanilai Family Farm (KFF) is under NIA detention. According to a family source, Mr. Bojang is held at the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) detention center in Tanji, Kombo South. Readers could recall that Lt. Col. Solo Bojang was charged with 4 counts, ie “Abuse of Office, False Information, Conspiracy and Theft.” Lt. Col. Bojang was acquitted and discharged by the Brikama Magistrate’s Court on 12^th May 2014. He was convicted and fined D50, 000 on the false information charge which the family said has since been paid. The family members are appealing to the authorities to release Lt. Col. Bojang whose detention is clocking nearly four months.  ]]>
