Laliga’s Osasuna signs Gambian striker

Laliga side CA Osasuna has added Gambian goal-getter Nuha Marong to their roster, Foroyaa Sport can Nuha Marongauthoritatively report.

Nuha becomes the club latest acquisition following the arrival of few other marquee signings as the side looks toward staying in Spain’s Laliga having missed level for close few seasons.

Marong caught the eye in the wake of his impressive goal-galore stint last year in which he managed to score twenty four goals in the fourth tier while with Elche’s reserves in the Tereca Division.

The 23-year-old towering powerful front-man joined Elche on a 17-month contract.

With power, speed and skill his main assets, Marong confirmed his switched to Foroyaa Sport yesterday evening.

Nuha will begin his spell with the club’s reserves in the third Division (Segunda B) with the hope of breaking into the A-team at least before end of the new campaign.

In Segunda B, the striker will be playing in the same level as Gambia international midfielder Sulayman Marreh who’s a key figure for Granada’s second team.
