By Sulayman Bah Uncapped Gambian-born Muhammed Keita has returned to actionMuhamed Keita 1 with Lech Poznan after being sidelined by an injury. The 24-year-old, who’s yet to be capped with the Gambia national team but expressed interest to don the country’s national colours, picked up an injury immediately after Lech Poznan exited the Europa League. The winger picked up the abrasion during training which came at a time, Poznan, considered Poland’s most successful club in over the past decade were also struggling domestically with fans growing increasingly disillusioned over the team chequered performances. But Keita has now recuperated and climbed off the substitutes’ bench playing twenty-five minutes without scoring in his club’s 5-0 battering of Belchatow. Muhamed joined from Norwegian champions Stromgodset whom he won the title with for the first time last season. Meanwhile, Keita’s team-mate and countryman, KebbaCeesay, is yet to start playing but has resumed light workout as he aims a return to football this season. He’d been kept out of action over a year since breaking his ankle. He went under the knife twice in a bid to correct his ligament. An early return will only do good to Poznan’s kamikaze defence.]]>
