Gambian defender Kebba Ceesay has re-signed for Lech Poznan. Foroyaa
Sport can report.
The defender added two years to his initial three year contract that was due to elapse end of the current season. The 26-year-old was
offered an improved deal last week after months of negotiation between
his agent and the club board.
Ceesay had a boisterous season in his first season in Polish football
a year after his transfer from Stockholm-based Djurgarden IF.
The no-nonsense defender who’s also comfortable being deployed as a
right-back has been out of action for over year having torn a ligament
in his ankle.
He has since recovered but is yet to play club football with the coach
in no rush to throw him in the fray for fear of risking a recurrence.
Kebba who last played for Gambia in 2011 has 33 matches under his belt
scoring two goals in 2013.]]>
