Judgment on eleven accused persons arrested in connection with the April 14 demonstrations will be delivered by the high court at 
Mansakonko today. The eleven accused persons are Lamin Sonko, Modou Touray, Lansana Beyai, Lamin Marong, Alhajie Fatty, Nogoi Njie, Fatoumatta Jawara, Fatou Camara and Kafu Bayo.
The eleven are the remainder of a group of 25 persons whose trial commenced in Banjul but was later transferred to Mansakonko. The charges against the accused are ‘Unlawful assembly’, ‘Riot’, ‘Incitement of Violence’, Riotously interfering with vehicle’, ’Holding a procession without a permit’, ‘Disobeying an order to disperse’, and ‘Conspiracy to commit
Felony’.
