Striker Lamin Jallow is back with parent club Chievo Verona of the Serie A following end of his loan deal withLamin Jallow Cittadella.

Italian side Cittadella are ardent for Gambia international Lamin Jallow to stay put with the club after helping them win promotion last season.

Forward Jallow was invaluable in Cittadella’s run last term, starring twenty-seven times scoring four goals, two of those been in the promotion play-off.

The 21-year-old arrived at the club on loan from Serie A’s Chievo Verona on a 12-month deal and is expected to return following elapse of contract.

But Cittadella are eager to push through a deal with the Gambian’s parent club in ensuring reacquisition of the player’s services in their debut season when the Italian second division resumes.

Lamin himself wishes to continue with The Purples, and negotiations have commenced between Cittadella and Chievo over brokering an agreement before closure of the transfer window.

Retaining midfielder Yusupha Bobb also tops discussions between the two parties.

The 19-year-old who joined Chievo from Hawks Football Club featured twelve times for Cittadella scoring once but had his season truncated by an injury.
