The intelligence service of a country should alert leaders to internal or external security of a country. What is amazing is that Israel is isolating itself more and more from the world without enhancing the internal and external security of the country and her population.
Qatar, despite if controversial closeness to Hamas has undoubtedly been both an ally of the US and Israel. The prime minister of Qatar recently defended the $400million dollar aircraft donated to the United States to serve as Air Force 1 as the US builds another. Qatar has close diplomatic ties with Israel which makes it very easy for Israeli officials to travel in and out of Qatar for different purposes.
It is therefore questionable why Israel will attack the Hamas leadership in Qatar when it could simply tell Qatar that it does not favour their hosting in the country. Qatar suffered just recently because of Israeli and US attacks in Iran that led to an attack on US base in Qatar.
President Trump defended receiving the aircraft from Qatar by claiming that the US has been defending Qatar over the years. Has that support disappeared and how will the US receive the Israeli attack on Qatar.
Israeli intelligence should have taken note that Iran’s original tactic was to seize hostages and carry out elimination mission against individuals. This however would have earned Iran international isolation. It is therefore very easy for any intelligence agency of a state to be able to tell the Israeli government that killing individuals has never and will never be a source of eliminating the internal and external threat of a country. In fact, it worsens the threat.
The world is not watching. It is simply bewildered. No sane person on Earth can expect a respectable nation to have leaders that could carry out such atrocities in broad daylight and still believe that it is functioning a part of the civilized nations of the earth.
