Banks are facilitating the receipt of fees and dues to be collected by government agencies to prevent leakages and delay of payments into government accounts by cashiers of agencies through receipts over the counters. This provides salvation to the cashiers who could be subjected to undue pressures by senior authorities to misappropriate funds.
Foroyaa would try to find out whether Trust Bank has developed partnership to be able to render services which may enhance transparency and accountability in the collection.
