QUESTION OF THE DAY
The TRRC is not a trial chamber. It is a fact-finding chamber aiming to investigate and present a fair view of what transpired from 1994 to 2016. Those who preside over its affairs should have sufficient knowledge of the phases of development of the Jammeh administration.
There are four stages that Gambians should take note. The first stage was the stage of absolute monarchy when the following announcement was made on air:
The first phase was to negate all law.
The second phase was to preserve aspects of the Constitution under the supremacy of decrees
The third phase was the restoration of the supremacy of the Constitution and the fourth phase was to govern with executive order despite constitutional restraints.
