Is The Old Dictum Correct That Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied?

QUESTION OF THE DAY

The case of the NIA 9 started immediately after President Barrow assumed office. The case is yet to be concluded. The new Gambia came into being with the promise to put an end to detention without trial and detention without speedy justice.

The Chief Justice needs to review all the cases in the courts with a view to putting an end to all delays in the dispensation of justice.

Moral high ground could only be taken if the quality of justice is higher than that of the past.
