The Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs indicated at a press conference on Friday, 29th August, 2025 that the minimum pay of civil servants is D6000. According to the Estimates of Income and Expenditure of The Gambia for the year 2025, some civil servants at Grade 1 should be paid D3000 per month.
Foroyaa will seek clarification from the Minister how he got the figure of D6000.
