Foroyaa has been informed that the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Mr.Ousman Jammeh, was picked up by men in 
plain clothes in the evening of Thursday, 15 October, 2015 immediately following his removal from office on that very day.
Visiting his family residence in Kanifing South yesterday to confirm from family members the veracity of the report, this reporter was told by someone he met there, who prefers anonymity, that the former deputy minister’s whereabouts are not known. The person would not confirm or deny the report.
However, while the reporter was in the compound, people were coming in and out in a sympathising mood and with one lady openly crying.
Mr.Jammeh was appointed as deputy minister of agriculture on 8 July 2015. He was in office for less than four months before his removal and replacement by Mr.IsmailaSanyang.
