Is it a meet the people tour or a political campaign?
The rainy season is here. A presidential tour would have been dominated by discussion on the preparedness of farmers for the rainy season. Do they have sufficient seeds, fertilizer and farming implements? When should they expect rains? How did their crops fare during the last rainy season and what lessons have they drawn from it? How to move forward? These are the questions that should have dominated the tour and to get answers from the executive.
We will continue to monitor the tour and publish some of the things being said for posterity.
