The fact that the Israeli Government has not captured the main Hamas commanders or enumerated the number of Hamas fighters killed has confirmed that it is unable to impose its will on Hamas to surrender. What is being enumerated is the number of houses destroyed, the number of hospitals razed to the ground, the number of people displaced (over a million) and over 35,000 people, mainly women and children, killed.
Strategically, the Israeli Government has succeeded in isolating itself just as Hamas has succeeded in isolating itself by its October 7th attack on mostly civilians in Israel.
The suicidal attack of Hamas and the genocidal attack of the Israeli Government cannot provide solution to the problem of Israel and Palestine. The only solution is to have a ceasefire and the preparation and negotiation for a two-state solution between the Palestinian and Israeli people for a two state solution.
