IS HALIFA SALLAH TO ADDRESS PAN AFRICAN GROUP ON AFRICAN LIBERATION DAY?
The Pan African Group which invited Halifa Sallah to Manchester City to address them some years ago have decided to invite him again for a second address on their own commemoration of African Liberation Day scheduled for 28 and 29 May 2017.
Foroyaa has reliably learnt that Halifa Sallah submitted his passport to the UK Visa Centre on 15 May 2017 conveying the plan to travel on 26 May 2017.
It is gathered from Halifa Sallah that the passport failed to be returned on 26 May. He raised the matter with the British Embassy for facilitation on 26 May 2017. We gathered from him that the British Embassy will work diligently for the return of the passport from UK and he claimed that it was only hindered by the bank holiday on Monday.
Whether the organisers will still be interested in postponing the address of 28 and 29 May is yet to be decided.
