IS GRTS A NATIONAL MEDIA ESTABLISHMENT?
This is the question that people are asking worldwide. There is an outgoing president and an incoming president and the country is booming with newsworthy issues and events that are being featured by other non-state media outlets in The Gambia and other state and non-state media outlets of other countries.
Gambians and other interested persons often rely on other media outlets to get news on the Gambian situation. This is at best sabotage of the integrity of the nation and at worst national disgrace. This attitude of GRTS is inexplicable.
Foroyaa will contact the current minister of information and the director general of GRTS to find out why this state media outlet has imposed an embargo on issues and events that are the most important challenges confronting the Gambian nation.
