Before the rainy season started in earnest, the government announced the price of fertiliser as D1100. The ‘seccos’ in many villages are dormant and those responsible are telling villagers that they have no access to the fertiliser that is reported to be sold. However, private persons are reported to be selling the fertiliser at D1150. People are wondering where such people are getting the fertiliser from and the government needs to give an answer.
