Irish Corporation Company Lawyer Testifies in Tina Faal’s trial

Omar Njie, Lawyer for the O’ Corporation Company in Ireland and also the owner of Boeing 727 aircraft, on the 31st August, 2016 TINA FAALtestified as 2nd prosecution witness in the trial of Madame Tina Faal, a politician.

In his testimony before Principal Magistrate Omar Cham of the lower court in Banjul, Lawyer Njie said he never saw Tina Fall removing any parts from the Boeing 727 aircraft, which was stationed at the Banjul International Airport since 2002.

“The aircraft has been stationed at the Banjul International Airport since about the year 2000. I had once visited the premises where the said aircraft was stationed. I was not a witness to the removal of the parts from the said aircraft but I received information that certain parts like one of the engines of the aircraft was taken down and put in a crane,” said Mr Njie.

Pw2 confirmed that the place where the aircraft was packed is strictly controlled by The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). He said he was astonished as to how the engine of the aircraft was taken down from a restricted place like the airport.

At this juncture, the matter was adjourned to September 19 for the 3rd witness to testify.
