Alagie Njie, a student at the International Open University (IOU), is soliciting financial support from all and sundry, to help him pay for his tuition fees.

Njie, who is admitted at the IOU to pursue his Bachelors Degree in Education, said he cannot due to his poor background.

“I really need financial support to safe my educational dream which is already fading from me. I am from a very poor background and I struggle to put food on the table because I am the breadwinner of my family,” Njie said.

According to Njie, the tuition fee for his Degree program is fifty-eight thousand, five hundred dalasi (D58, 500) per annum and according to his acceptance letter from the university, he is supposed to pay half of the amount before he commences his program.

“No student will be allowed to register for any course unless he or she presents evidence of scholarship awarded from his or her sponsor or paid tuition fees,” Njie indicated.

Njie calls on individuals, Companies, NGOs, Government and any Good Samaritan who wants to assist him, to contact him on the following numbers: 3709956 or 3053734
