The Insurance Association of the Gambia (IAG) is deeply concerned about the current political crisis in the Gambia following the December 1st 2016 presidential election.
The IAG being the umbrella body for all insurance companies in The Gambia is calling on his Excellency the outgoing president to reconsider and reverse his current position by peacefully handing over power to Mr. Adama Barrow the president-elect.
You have really contributed immensely to the development of the country during your 22 years leadership which all Gambians must appreciate and thank you for, but it is the same people that have spoken and their will should be respected in the interest of peace and stability in our nation.
You are an advocate of peace and we believe you will reverse your position.
