Institutions to clash in one-day female volleyball tourney

By Sulayman Bah Institutions are set to battle it out in a one-day female volleyball tournament this weekend. Organised by the National Inter-departmental Sports Association, up to six institutions are set to rub shoulders in the event to be held at the Churchills Town-based Fire and Rescue Service grounds. Winner of the championship to start 9:am, will represent Gambia in an international tournament in Senegal on a date to be determined later, according to NISA’s Assistant Public Relations Officer Sulayman Badjie. Among departments competing are GFRS, Gambia Armed Forces, Gambia Police Force, Gambia Prisons Service, Gambia Revenue Authority and Gamtel/Gamcel.  ]]>
