The IEC issued a statement yesterday rectifying errors made in the final election result which do not affect the overall standing of
the candidates
The result is now revised as follows:
Adama Barrow, 227,708 votes nationally instead of 263,515 votes.
Yahya Jammeh, 208,487 votes instead of 212,099 votes.
Mamma Kandeh, 89,768 votes instead of 102,969 votes.
The commission reiterated that the result has not changed the status quo and that the revised result was endorsed by representatives of all the contesting candidates at the Election House on Monday.
