According the Commissioner General of the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), the GRA has collected between 1st 2025 to 31st March 2025, that is, the first quarter of 2025, the sum of 6.7 billion dalasi. This puts it in good shape to meet its target of 23 billion dalasi for the year 2025.
It does not make sense for the government to recycle the Senegambia Bridge instead of intensifying collection from it to invest in productive enterprises to generate more revenue for the state.
