Readers would recall that the GGC management promised to visit seccos and reconcile with secco managers to prevent any unsettled matter regarding the groundnut trade from prevailing. The tour party visited 32 seccos out of 101 and began to reconcile outstanding claims.
Foroyaa has recently learnt that management has completed its reconciliation and is now willing to reconsider any outstanding claims. Foroyaa had raised the complaints made by individual farmers in the North Bank of failure to receive payments after delivering their nuts at the various seccos.
Now that reconciliation is complete Foroyaa will find out what efforts the GGC will make to reconcile with all claimants. All findings will be duly reported.
