The National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corporation (commonly known as GGC) is been confronted with the challenges of credit buying. Instruction for buying to be put on hold until all credits are paid has still not led to the payment of all the debts owed in URR.
In that regard, a system of developing and issuing promissory notes to those farmers who have delivered their nuts but are yet to be paid. The promissory note should indicate the quantity delivered and the sum owed. This is the way to secure the farming community.
